Indosuez supports the Brain Institute and its NeurAL program

🧠 1 in 8 people worldwide have brain disease (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Charcot's disease, multiple sclerosis, tumours, stroke, epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, etc.).

The Paris Brain Institute, established in 2010, is an international research center with no equivalent in the world with the aim of enabling the rapid development of treatments for damage to the nervous system. It is a center of excellence focused not only on patient care but also on incubating entrepreneurs.

✍ Indosuez has signed a partnership with this research center, to support the second edition of its startup studio, NeurAL, a real launch ramp for entrepreneurial projects in neuroscience.

In concrete terms, NeurAL mobilises the necessary resources so that research carried out in the laboratory, giving rise to patents, can become entrepreneurial projects carried out by start up in neuroscience, with a view to developing innovative solutions in the therapeutic field, medical or digital technologies.

The Brain Institute and its iPEPS incubator, whose companies have been able to raise more than 650 million euros in private funds in recent years and put around ten products on the market, have therefore decided to create this NeurAL program, to facilitate the transition from research to entrepreneurship.

This neuroscience seed programme combines personalised support for winning projects and funding according to each project's needs in order to best prepare the research teams.

Any researcher, engineer, skincare professional working in France can respond to the NeurAL call for projects, with a fast online process, followed by individual exchanges. A committee of experts and partners will select the winners of the programme from this 2024 edition.

Indosuez will participate in the jury that will select the accompanied projects, which will take place next September.
